trunk lock cyclinder?

ok im installing my trunk lock an i can't for the life of me remember where this spring goes? anyone any ideas?

That spring looking thing is actually part of the factory anti theft/ alarm system but the end of it is missing. If your not concerned about the alarm working just leave it loose or cut the rest of it off.

I have no idea. There should be a wire that plugs into it
Where does the wire plug into?
