trunk squeeks and squeels when opening

I sprayed everywhere under there. What exact part do i need to spray to get the trunk quiet again.

make sure the rubber sleeve is on one of the torsion bars where they cross, and maybe smear some lithium grease on it where they make contact.

Mine was doing that, it was the right side hinge. Sprayed up in the hinge area with the white lithium grease, squeak stopped. Quiet several years now...

Whaaatt, don't like the Count Dracula coffin opening sound...

Need to spray the hinge area way up at the top. IIRC, I laid on my back in the trunk to get to that area.

I sprayed everywhere it is making me nuts. I going to have to lay in there and spray it real good I guess.

yes spray where the hinge pivots at the package tray. it is held in with a pin i believe, that is usually the squeak
