Trying to figure out this noise

I have been noticeing this noise kinda like a whining noise gets loud around 30 to 50 mph. To me it sounds like its right underneath me like u-joints or something. Might be the rear end whinging to. What u guys think u-joints or rear end???

Tranny was just rebuilt

as for the power steering i dont think so comes from under the car to me it sounds like right under the drivers seat but i have had others say it sounds like the rear end

does it start when you let off the gas? can you make it change with the gas pedal?

most of the noise is when i get to about 40 and keep the pedal down to maintain speed
