Who knows the difference in the factory pumps, is there a big difference. How much can each handle, Boost/HP/ET time.

The TTA pump is marginally better. I wouldn't feel comfortable running either one past the 13's...

Well i bought the TTA FPR...because when i bought my thrasher chip it said to use that FPR or to get an adjustbale FPR wich is like 100bucks or more....I can get TTA Fuel Pressure Regs for 1/2 that....so i got one...and according to napa it supplies 44.4 or something like that lbs of fuel at base...they called the company that made the stock replacement...Its also the same part # for a Typhoon and Cyclone i think.....This is my .02cents though..

Well here's my two cents...

Every time I try to run a TTA that has a stock pump it seems to start to fail as I start to lean on it.

As an example my latest TTA has 51K miles on it and I've made 6 runs with it:
1st time to track
13.4@106
13.6@102(hot lapped it)
13.3@104
13.4@104
Second time to track-running out of fuel
13.6@100
13.7@99

This is the third time it's happened to me in three separate stock or just about stock TTA's with stock fuel pumps

I HATE stock pumps and I HATE doing pumps in TTA's

This may be irrelivent though scince your talking about new pumps but for the price of a Walbro 340 there should be no question about what to get

we ran in the 11s with a stocker BUT that was back in 1990 when the car was new....now ya just get a good pump an get it over with...install isnt bad at all!!!!! (IF ya have someone else do it ):p

The TTA FPR is the Bosch 237. Excellent for beginners like me because you cant make your car run pig rich. Should be able to handle anything you can run on stock injectors

Went 12.19 with the stock pump at 90K miles.

They both should be replaced, if not by age alone.

Im running the TTA FPR, then im gunna go with a Walboro pump and hotwire kit, then when i get the money im gettin a Adjustable FRP...but that is not my most important thing....Gettin the exhaust done will be next...Then what do you people suggest?
