what size are 86-87 T-ype/WE4 wheels? 15x8? what backspacing?

thanks guys whats the biggest slick i can run on these b/c i know you can run bigger tires on them than on my GN wheels?

i would run a hoosier 26x9 drag slick-


i believe the new hoosier tires have grooves in the beed and allow you to run those slicks without haveing to drill rim screws

is there anyway i could run a 28 inch slick on some ttype rims. these will be track only rims w/slicks on them so i dont mind drilling rim screws. i run 275-60-15 BFG Radial T/A's on my stock GN rim on the street but they bulge a little and i think if i had wrinkle walls on them they would fall off when i launch. should i just get a set of $100 15 inch Cragar Stret Stars that are 15x8 and put slicks on those? im looking for a light rim which is why i thought of the ttypes.

I run the BF Drag Radials 275/50/15 on stock T rims with no problems at all.

how tall are those? i know that my 275060-15's are 28 inch. im wondering what the RPMs through the traps difference would be between these 2 sizes? wheres UNGN again?
