"Tuner Style" & boost readings

Im having problems with high boost, my wg actuator is all the way out and Im getting 18#+ not even at 3/4 throttle. (letting off when knock shows up)

Hooking the wastegate up "tuner style" what sort of boost should you expect ? Searching posts I get results of anywhere from 8 - 14.

I was getting 15# before reaching WOT tuner style. Do you guys think I have a High boost actuator ? I bought it from a TR vendor last year and its lucky if it has 1000 miles on it.

Im going to take my stocker and make it adjustable for testing in the spring when the car is back out.. Just looking for some input.

Stocker does ~10 to 12 lbs tuner style.
I don't have one, but I've read that the HD actuator is 18 lbs base setting.

Check the Garrett tags on the 2 actuators for part numbers. I believe HD actuators start with a 1, while OEM actuators start with a 4, or vice versa.

Also, the minimum boost that a HD actuator can provide seems to vary, depending upon the particular actuator and car. On my GN I have no problem maitaining a rock solid 15 PSI using a HD actuator installed tuner style. "Your results may vary."
