why are yall changing the turbo, I intercooled mine both ways 1- leaving the turbo in the back and 2- did the complete conversion using my stock 85 turbo, you just have to re-clock it. I ran that turbo until a fin broke on the exhaust side.

Im in fresno ca. And I didn't switch my turbo. Have a ta-33 reclocked

how do you reclock a turbo??? can some one explan that

To reclock a turbo- you loosen the exhaust housing bolts and that will allow you to rotate the housing
to the desired position. Example- if housing points straight down (6 o'clock), you can turn housing to straight forward (3 o'clock) to hook up to a inte-rcooler
Housings can be stuck on there pretty good sometimes and may require removal to relocate...

my turbo housing was completely seized. Had to use a heat gun, rust penetrant and gently tap to get it to move.

after i clock it i can add the inter cooler what size inter coolinng pipes do i want to get

I used the 87 intake manifold along with 2.5 intercooler piping.
