It will bolt in. It uses the same driveshaft. The mount is more forward so you will have to use a different cross member. It uses a different torque converter so you can't use the one from the 200. Why don't you fix the 200? Sounds like it has a broken shaft on the forward drum.

I will end fixing the 200 eventualy.I have the turbo 350 already so the cost will be at a minimum.Plus it will be nice to have an extra. There is a fellow owner who runs a local AAMCO who he would take care of me when it's time to fix it.I was also looking at 700r4 that I can get pretty much for free,so that be an option also. Are there any problems bolting up a700r4?

Thanks,

Jack

I have a th350 , get a crossmember from a 3 speed cutlass , your speedo will be off, i reused the driveshaft. And your th350 is from a buick olds or pontiac right, not a chevy. Chevy wont bolt up.

You'll also have to deal with the TV cable and a vacuum source for the vacuum modulator. It wont shift under WOT unless you put a check valve in the line.

Well I think after a little consideration I'm going to have the 200 rebuilt. The guy I bought the car from is on board here and said he would rebuild it for me.He's familiar with the car and knows what's been done to it so it just makes sense to let him do it.I want to have a spare tranny so I may just try and find another 200 and do a good build on it as money permits. Thanks for the advice but it sounds like the th350 may be a little more than I want to deal with.Besides I don't know what it came out of.

Thanks,

Jack
