turbo 400 question

Guys,i did a search and came up more confused than before,Which fitting on the turbo 400 is the return line from the trans cooler/rad.? Is it the top one or the bottom one on the trans?Running my external cooler today and wanna plumb it correctly..Thanks,Dave
