i have three of these, and three normal carbs. for the life of me i cant find a differance in them. base plate is the same, center section looks the same??? i know there is suppose to be a differance but i cant find it:confused:

It's mainly the plumbing for the power valve. In the diagram find the PEVR (The PECV or PEVR are basically the same thing.) The line from the TVS (thermal vacuum switch - supplies vacuum when not cold) to the PEVR is the vacuum source. The line from the PEVR to the carb is vacuum to the power valve port. This port won't be present on a non-turbo carb (the power valve plumbing will be inside the carb). The PEVR blocks the vacuum during turbo boost.


The turbo carb also has an extra 50 cfm in the primary bore.
