Turbo Control Module box

I have a 80 carbureted turbo MC with Buick 231 & its missing the turbo control module. Does the car nees it to run? Does anybody have 1 for sale or know on up-to-date replacement for it?

It will run without it, but you'll have no protection if the engine detonates. They pop up on evilbay once in a while or you do have the option of getting an after market unit that works so much better than stock it isn't funny. Can't remember the name right now but when I do I'll post it.

Are you sure it's gone? In 1980 they moved the Turbo Control Center to under the dash.

I'll check tomorrow when I get hm from work. Previous mechanic did a hack job on the wiring so hopefully he thought it was important & left it intact.

The J&S electronics box may be what you're looking for. It will replace the stock unit and do more than the original ever thought of doing.
