Turbo, cost of a rebuild? powerplate?

How much does it normally cost to have a turbo rebuilt?

I know that the powerplate works well on my stock setup. But, when you upgrade to say a bigger throttle body, and turbo does it become a restriction?

Anywhere from $250-$400 to rebuild a turbo. From statements made the open area is still much larger than a TB even going to 70mm. Jason runs 9's with it so it can't restrict much

Thanks for the input "intercooler". I saw Jasons car run in BG, car works reallly well. I guess buying a used turbo for around 300.00 and taking the chance of having to rebuild it, isn't worth the time. Better off to buy a new one. He says that the turbo has less than 15k miles and works well.

I agree. The way I look at it is new price. Say my 61 which is $800 new. Minus a rebuild of $350 so what it should go for is $450 used. This way you CYA and the seller does the same as the buyer shouldn't complain even if it went bad. JMO
