turbo gasket idea

i have a 85 gn and the metal gasket that goes on the turbo broke into little peices. i was stuck because they are not made any more. i was looking around the garage and started looking at a 84 4.1 v6 i had laying aroud. i don`t know if this helps anyboby but i took the maifold donut gasket off of it and put it in place of the old metal one on my 85gn and it works like a champ. autozone still carries the gasket for like 20 bucks so if this helps out anybody let me know.. p.s i am running 13 lbs of booste and it has no leaks.......rob85gn
