If I can get that out of mine, I'll be happy. Tho instead of peaking out the 49 on stock heads and cam, wouldn't ported head and cam combo run a little more efficient with an up to date turbo?

I'm really leaning towards the updated 5858 for this.

Heads and cam and converter can improve almost any combo. Even if the owner thinks they have the best there is room for improvement. The cast t04e60 definitely struggles at high pressure ratios. If i wanted to run a set of untouched heads well into the tens I'd opt for a different compressor. The cea wheels are better than the t04e series everywhere but won't necessarily make more power.

I like the performance the 5858 is associated with on the big end of the track.

Now what about on the street compared to its older 44/49 brothers.

Post 5858 results in a thread. Ive never seen one run hard on a Buick
