This turbo was called a "60-1 Stage V" on the original paperwork from the guy who built the motor, I belive it was built by Innovative Turbo. Can anyone identify what this turbo could be in more "Buick" terms? I think it was built in 2001-2002ish.

Exhaust wheel and the turbo inlet are about 2.75 I think.

Not a 60-1. The 60-1 is a Garret compressor and has 7 blades and measures around 59mm at the inducer. Post accurate measurements of the wheels or its only a guess

I need to borrow a set of calipers to get the exact measurements. Sorry for the stupid questions, but do I need to pull the cover off to measure it?

The rough measurment of the inlet and exhaust was an ID (only had a T-Square there to measure)

looking at the gnttype.org picture guides, there is a lot more meat on the inlet side than the pictures of even the TE44.

Any idea what exhaust wheel that is? The housing is a precision .63 a/r

Maybe this is actually a PT51 or 52? The turbo may have been replaced after the paperwork I had. I don't rememer what we did to the turbo after the budget roller cam fiasco.

Not a 51 or 52. They both have 10 blade exhaust wheels. A PT53 would have a 6 blade 58mm compressor wheel and an 11 blade 69 trim exhaust wheel.

Measured the exhaust housing is 65mm the best I could measure the intake housing is around 61-62mm, my calipers would not reach in all the way and it is tapered a bit.

Taje the housings off and measure them.

Re-measured.... again... I suck with the calipers trying to measure a turbo :P

Any ideas what this one is?
