How bad is it?

I am considering either a TE44,PT51,TE60,Ta52,pt52.

Also, do the HP capabilities listed on the chart at gnttype.org define crank or wheel HP?

Thanks

with a 44/49 turbo, you shouldn't have any spool up problems. With the others, it will be pretty bad unless you swap out convertors.
Those HP numbers are for the crank.

2800-3000 stall converter would be nice with any of those and give lightning fast spoolup

If spool-up is so important, why not go for a ball bearing turbo? Get the spool-up of a small turbo and the top end on a big turbo!!!

T/C for TE60

I was looking to buy a 3200 stall T/C. I've seen lots of 2800 and 3000 stall T/Cs for sale and passed them up. They will work as well as a 3200 for my TE60?

The rest of my combo is in my sig.

And menace848, the spool is bad with my D6 but really saves wear on my tires :D

blackbuick87,
I think I paid about 1,400 from Jack Cotton about a year ago.
