Anyone able to install the turbo drainback tube (G Body) without removing the water pump.If so how??

Yup

Remove up pipe, turbo, upper radiator hose, water pump by-pass hose, and I think thermostat housing, and you're there.

+2. Much to remove and then put back. But boy it's nice once it's in there.

OORRRRR the other way is TURBO DRAIN KIT
put it on and never look back.I broke my stock one trying to get it back on with water pump still on.

First off, put Studs in the Turbo for when you do get it on the block.
Sooo much easier to hook up the turbo after!

Studs in Turbo

If I would have "studded" the turbo drainback I would have had no need for the rediculous garbage that I purchased from one of the vendors. The vendor had no insight for assembly whatsoever. You can live with the OE drainback tube when swapping turbos if you use studs and nuts.I sure learned from this as I hope others will.

Kind of mixed emotions on that one…Helped a friend change out a turbo that had studs for the turbo oil return & dp, never had to wrestle a turbo swap some much in my life. Guess I wasn't holding my mouth right. :D
