Turbo Question

Will a TA49 hook up to a V1 hotair intake?
It seems like there arent very many turbos offered for hotair cars. I was thinking a TA49 might be a good choice for my combo.
Is there modification to the turbo that can be done to get it to hook up? What is the factor that causes the problem? is it the size of the neck that goes into the intake?

I noticed on another thread you reccomended a TA49 to someone with a virtually stock car. Does that mean that yes I could just purchase a TA49 and would be able to attach to my V1?
The 33 is the one hotair turbo that I have seen offered, and happens to be more expensive than any of the other (86-87) turbos I saw. I think I would probably be overall happier with the 49.
