Turbo Question...

Hey guys i just picked up a 83 carbed t, and i was wondering if a t25 turbo from a 2g eclipse would work for my car, Im very new to this game, so im also wondering if it would be an upgrade or not. My roomate said he'd give it to my for free if i wanted it. Also can anybody tell me or send me a link to info about my stock turbo, like the specs of it, Thanks guys

And the technical reasons why a T25 won't work well on a 231 CI V6 are:

- T25 is a very small chassis turbo, that was specifically created for small CI 3 & 4 cylinder applications with hp goals of 150-300 hp max.
- The T25 internally gated style turbine housings are tiny when compared to even a Hot Air T3 3-bolt series turbine housing. Way too much back pressure.
- Extreme back pressures with very little performance gains if any, out of the T25 chassis turbo.
Mitsubishi used two of their version of a T25 turbo on the 3000GT VR-4. Up to 320 hp.
Not recommended.
