turbo saver fitting

I have a trcustoms turbosaver I'm trying to install and the nipple won't thread into the brass elbow fitting for the turbo oil feed. The elbow was laying in the box that the rebuilt turbo was in so I thought it was the right one. Anyone else had this problem or do I just have the wrong combo of nipple/elbow? The nipple is just a little too small to thread into the brass elbow. I was thinking maybe one is metric and the other standard. Figured I'd post on here first before I head to the hardware store to try to come up with something that works for me. Thanks

the nipple from the turbo saver is 1/8" npt , the elbow on turbo is 1/4 invert flare, you have to remove the brass elbow from the turbo the turbo is 1/8" npt
