Turbo selection

Currently putting together a 261 inch stage 2 engine. What would be a good max effort budget turbo? Found a good deal on a Garrett gt4788.

turbo should be selected by how much power and what kind of racing your doing.

The pt-7275 is great and not too crazy on the price like there other stuff.

i believe the 7675 is any excellent turbo for your needs, spools very quick so street manners are good.. The turbo will run into 8's no problem.

It’s a monster and the map is nice for a v6 around 250ci that will be 6500-7500.

If you can get 1000whp on a 75 turbine you’re doing really good. It will be a back pressure engine

You can still make power with backpressure. It would have to be better than my 70 3 bolt turbine at 1000rwhp.

Yes you can but you can make a lot more without it. You might add 600 rpm and make 1200whp with more turbo
