Lookiing For Info On Turbo Timers And Blow Off Valve Are They Worth Geting For Our Cars What Size Bov Would I Need For A 6776

Never seen a GN with a turbo timer and the turbos never have problems, TiAL can tell you what size BOV you should use on a 6776, but most people don't run one. I do, but that's just me.

any info onbov thinking of getting one just dont know what size would be the best fit for my set up . i just put 6776 on.next will be injectors. turbo saver

Turbo Timers are a good idea to feed the turbo fresh oil before the engine shuts off. Many aftermarket alarms offer it as a feature.

Most BOVs are rated at a certain boost level, not sure they really have a "size" aside from the Tials being 50mm or whatever it is.

Yea, I agree, also helps the turbo cool down if you just did a pull or whatever too, but usually just the easy drive back from the spot is long enough to cool it. Also agree about the bov size, don't think that's as important as having the correct spring. TiAL is used in many fast racing classes (for lack of a better word) and are pretty much considered one, if not, the best.

For a turbo timer you could just not get into boost and then shut it off...That's the most cost effective way to "turbo time"

I wouldn't bother with either one. But if you really want them just get a Tial bov and whatever for a turbo timer. I had one on my Evo but wouldn't buy one again.

functional yes, effective no. I dont want to just sit in my GN and wait a min or two to shut off. Sitting doing nothing isn't so effective, when you could already be out the door and in line for the strip club! I mean albertsons heh.

tial BOV
greddy turbo timer
greddy profec 2

and your golden, the turbo timer and boost controller even fit above your radio sense there is enough space for a DD deck, just run a regular size deck and mount the timer and controller on top. Pretty clean look. Or you can mounth them were ever you want! GL. Tial and Greddy only way to go.
