How do you like the SD and not having a MAF? Is this pretty easy to tune? I would be replacing my Gen II and LS-1 MAF. Thanks for any replies/info.

it's a great chip... easy to use and runs and drives nicely. Plus it's nice to run leaded gas without any worries.

the MAP sensor must be set up with 5V power and ground from the ECM (tapping into the tps wires work well). Very important detail...

there is another older threader floating around here somewhere about this chip. Everyone I know who is using it likes it.

Does it not use the stock 02?
I have the 6.0 and liked it when the car was running!

With the SD the O2 is ignored altogether. Everything runs open loop based on VE tables. It does have wideband correction in case you want to use it, but you don't really need it. I use a wideband but I do not run the TTSD with closed loop wideband tracking. The fueling is nice and flat without it.

Im thinking about goin with this chip aswell. Do you daily drive your car, any issues at all with the overall drivability?

I run SD chips on both of my cars. No driveability issues that I have seen. Eric just made some updates to the SD chip too. So now would be a good time to get one.

I do not daily drive my car but I have not seen any issues with the SD other than a tip-in stumble which was addressed with a fuel pressure adjustment. Being open loop, it is actually a very smooth driving setup.
