Turbo Whistle

TA49 turbo with dump pipe open, you could really hear the turbo, changed to a TE61 now the whistle is not near as loud. is that right?

YES, boost comes up fast. its hard to tell if it pulls harder than the TA49.

mine has about 200 plus miles on it,the minute i give it gas the turbo whistle too.i would say that about right.the main thing is that the car starts to pull hard

My 6157 whistles really loud with the dump open, you can hear it driving in another car several cars behind. My old car with the 49 was the same way.
