I've run a 61 and now a 62 with a similar convertor, AC n/l 9" that stalls about 3000 on the foot brake. The 62 has a P-trim exhaust and does pull a bit better on top than the 61. I might have a quarter mile ET for proof if I make it to Morocco Buick challenge this Saturday. If you are looking a more stock like spool then the 61 was a better street turbo for me, although there is not too much difference in lag. I don't know anything about the 45 but the 61 and 62 work real well and are small shaft turbos.

i think if i went with the 45 it might be too much,my stall wouldnt be enough.plus the 45 is more by about 300.00.i also think that the 62 would be enough to get me 11.5 pretty consistant.

John Craig can take your 44 and have it built into a PT-61 for $100 more than a normal rebuild if my memory serves me correctly.
