whats the best all around turbo bbpte or turbonetics?precision needs a water kit 130$ ! the turbonetics has no water kit!

I think precision is a dual BB turbo and the Turbonetics is a single BB. not sure if you have to run a cooling with the dual.

I think precision is a dual BB turbo and the Turbonetics is a single BB. not sure if you have to run a cooling line with the dual. i think the bearing also get oil lubed on the dual besides the water.

Both needs water to cool them. The Turbonectics turbo has a oil filter built in it and does not require a restictor. Plus a one year warrenty. And it much less to buy.

Never heard of having to cool a turbonetics single ball bearing turbo with water. Not even from Jack Cotton where i bought mine.

Mine is on the way from Jack now. But I maybe mistaking of Turbonectics stuff. Sorry if I caused some bad info.

I have not gotten mine yet. But I hear good things about it. Plus it cost 45% less that the Precision unit, and I get a one year warranty.

the Turbonetics is also watercooled. Yes, Jack said that you don't have to run the waterlines. Before I knew that however, I talked to a Moderator on turbonetics website forum and he said " If my turbo had the water jackets, I'd run water to it" so I took that as I should. I'm not saying Mr. Cotton is wrong, He has way more knowledge of this stuff than me or sure. Maybe it's overkill for a street car, I don't know.
I didn't think it would hurt. We fabbed up a few pieces from local parts suppliers, there is no kit for a turbonetics water line like there is for Precision, but it will not work on a turbonetics turbo. I know cause I bought one. The thread size is bigger on the turbonetics. I've had great experiences from the CPT-61. It spools super fast with my very streetable tight 2800 stall convertor. I've ran it with no knock on pump gas and no alcy at 20 psi. on about a 70 degree night, so it seems to very efficient . Also the turbonetics is a single BB, reasoning for it from their tests can be read here.
