Refresh rate is a funcion of the ECM (as it always has been).
V4.0 still supports the "fast update" patch that the Extender chips incorporate.
The biggest difference is it now supports P4 ECMs (later model cars and trucks). The P4 has a frame rate of about 8-10 frames a second and includes ~100 parameters (versus our 25). Our first released vehicles is the Syclone/Typhoon, with the following on the plate to be released over the coming weeks as free downloads:
There have also been a host of performance improvements for slower laptops, new screen layouts, and we've developed a tool that allows us to add new vehicles and screens in a matter of days (vs the weeks it took previously).
So... Monday you can download v4.0 for FREE from the website to upgrade your v3.0 software. To get upgraded hardware (to be able to use the new vehicles) give us a call at 970.226.3867 with the promo code (or sign up to our newsletter) for special pricing.
BE SURE TO UNINSTALL ANY PREVIOUS V3.X VERSIONS OF THE SOFTWARE BEFORE INSTALLING V4.0 ... the download will need to be a "clean" installation.

- 2.8 PFI V6s
