Ok I here is the question
I have a nice DP with external deltagate by turbonetics, no creep or problems even with the boost up @ 21psi with race gas and stock turbo :)

Then I put on my TE44 turbo and had boost creep from hell!! (guys on here said to port the opening and this helped)

Now problem is still there but not as bad when I turn the boot up past 15PSI I have creep in 2nd and most likely in 3rd have not let it go that far since I saw 20-23#'s  and let off
This was with what looked like 17#s in first with a little or no creep.

My question is what to due now  Can the spring in this gate be change to something stronger to hold it???
or Can I move up to a racegate by turbonetics ??? Will it bolt to the flang I have now??? or just need to change the flang??

Or since these are 349$ (Cheapest price I found so far) should I just change the DP to the Terry Huston DP and Actuator ??? (Looks like around $550- 600 total ???

I would like to keep the DP I have as it is a nice set up custom made 3.25 dia! Peice and seems to work well, only a little lag with it and stock stall :)

at this piont I am lost now I think I have just read to much and am just looking to see what some of you would due. I want to fix the problem but I am running out of cash

You are probably out flowing the capability of the Deltagate. I had this same problem. I switched over to the Racegate and my boost creep problem went away.

The flanges are different.

You could buy another Deltagate and mount it on the crossover and run them in parallel, if you don't want to part with your DP. You could buy flanges for the Racegate and have your DP modified also. Any good welder should be able to do this.

Just talking to a friend right now about it and he thinks swap the flangs and go with the Racegate is the plan :)

The DP is in Really good shape and someone put a tone of time into it.

How different are the flangs??? From what we got on there web site the bolt pat is almost the same off such a small amount that the holes could be opened up??

I know the size of the gate is diff to so I am guessing just change the dumb flangs why they dont make things so they cant be easly swaped is beyond me

Thanks for the info anyone else have any sugestion opinions coments???

Looking for feedback to make the final Desition :D

the Turbonetics EVOLUTION w/g highly outflows the Deltagate and they are less-expensive than the race-gate ;)

Yes but is it able to be adjusted from in the car???
If so what horse power is it rated at on the site it says 300 same as the one we have on the car now :(
Thanks for your help

I have it on a T-76 Q trim ball-bearing turbo/intercooled 306 cid 91 Mustang gt vert. it makes 506 rwhp/560 rwtq on 14 psi w/ absolutely 0 boost creep. AND yes it is adjustable from inside the cockpit.
BTW...car weighs 3800lbs and runs 10.89 @ 127 1.9 short time on 93 octane.

Scrap that 400HP so it is more but from what we are setting up we will be closer to 500HP think it will still work?? I am thinking yes and it bolts to the flang we have!!! YEEE HAAA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks so much for your help!!!

Just Curious

I've got a Delta gate on an old Hoosier downpipe 2.5" I'm trying to find a larger downpipe and might fab up my own. Anyway I've got a T-62 turbo and was wondering if that is too much for this gate. Can I put it in the crossover and make a difference?? THANKS
