I'm considering moving up to the Turbonetics 66 with the 3" in and 2" out and .63 exhaust housing...I have the supporting mods to handle it. Does anyone have this turbo, and how do you like it. What convertor are you using with it?

Id say about a 3200 stall converter and it should be a nice tire burner! (very minimal lag)

-my 2 cents.

I have that turbo, but it's a single BB and has 4" inlet 2 1/2" outlet. I have a 3200 stall vigilante multi disc converter. It spools up pretty quickly. If the converter is locked in high gear it's boost threshold is about 2k rpm. It will build about 5#'s boost on the street with stock size street tires, but forget about hooking stock tires in 1st or 2nd gear with that turbo if it's turned up very much. My TTA is on 20#'s and it destroys the tires if you are under 50 mph, and from what I understand 20#'s is just where that turbo starts making power.

im finishing my car now and thats the turbo i have.i had it installed about 2yrs. ago and the guy who did it never had the right combo to really have fun with it. whats the max psi it will put out?

From what I hear 25#s is it's sweet spot on a heads/cam engine. You could probably push 30#s with it if you like to live dangerously.
