This is not my turbo but I have it in my possession to make this easier in the event that someone buys this. The owner is getting bad advice and is going with a different turbo without even knowing how well this one will work. I know thats stupid but he wont listen to me. Anyway, this turbo was bought from Cottons mid summer for almost $1,800.00 and has about 100 miles on it if that. The car had numerous driveability issues (new motor) so the turbo never saw any boost at all. It was driven just to seat the rings in the motor. This is a 72 Ballbearing P-trim (F-1 series wheel) with an .82 exhaust housing. This is supposed to be a real bad @ss turbo recommended by Jack so Im sure it will get down. I told the owner that he will not get a new turbo price on this unit since he did put oil thru it and drove it less than 100 miles, but he is trying to get a realistic price. Personally have my own opinion on what its worth, but all offers will be considered. Please PM me with any offer or call my cell number at (708)-670-8981 Gary. Oh yeah and no trades at this point. Thanx. Side note, the motor has a turbo saver so the turbo is contaminate free.

what size turbo is he looking for in a ball bearing just curios.Cuz I am looking to go bigger and have a 61ptrim bb i am thinking of selling.

Thats an easy low 10 sec. turbo with a good tune. I did 559/706 on a Mustang dyno with one through the stock MAFS at 24.5psi. Spools really fast with a 9.0:1 engine and 3000 stall.

Heres some pics, if they work..

looks like they are gonna fit. This is a 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet. Bison thanks for the good word on this turbo. I was kind of hoping to try it on my car in the spring but that dont look like its gonna happen  . Kraus the guy hes listening to now(import guy) most likely will put a monster on the car thinking it will work better. Personally I think he's gonna be a lot slower.

4th image

In the 4th image theres a smudge of black silicone clearly visible. they used that stuff on the oil return gasket. I should have cleaned it up I guess, but I wanted to show it as is. If anyone needs more detailed pics let me know. thanx.

The wastegate hole will need to be opened up if it is to be run hard or it will boost creep for sure. This is a good thing since most are opened up so much for external gates that an internal flapper wouldnt seal the hole. The mods i did besides the 4 inch to 3 inch at the MAFS and IAC relocator was to cut about about an inch off the hose to the water pipe that connects to the water pump and open the wastegate hole up to the max i could for my dp. Let us know how much power he makes with the "bigger" turbo and how fast he goes:biggrin: . Should be a 9 sec car. Actually i still have it on my black car and with the current tune and 50 degree air its an easy 130mph car.
