WEll i think it is time to upgrade turbo for the last time... i have a ta-49 and i know the intake can take more. anyways how big of a turbo can i go on stock heads? i have a 3,000 stall probley go to a 3,500 soon. what do u guys think i was think Ta-53

That is a pretty big turbo! But I believe you will have to upgrade the headers for optimum performance. If you could afford the turbo Headers shouldn't be a problem! Small insight, but hope it helps..

Hey guy's...is the TE-49 an "EXACT" bolt on for the 84 Stock GN turbo?!?

The Ta-49 isn't a direct bolt-on....if you want a direct bolt-on get a TA33.

thanks Nocooler...just 2 more questions: 1. What are the stock turbo's for the 84-85, and the 86-86 (ex. ta-33...ta-49...etc...) and 2. What all is involved in adapting the ta-49 on a stock 84? Thanks
