Turn Signal

How do you remove our turn signal lever? A video on YouTube said you just grab it and apply outward pressure and it just pops out. That doesn't sound right to me. There has to be some kind of a snap ring. If anybody has done it please let me know. Mine is starting to peel.

That’s right, just pull straight out. Fishing the cable out and new one in is a pain. Watch videos on that before you pull the old one out.

I think you have to twist it slightly before pulling? It's been years since I've done it.

Yes, they pull straight out. Before you do that, disconnect the small cable under the dash and tie a string to it. Makes it much easier to thread/fish the new cable back down the column.
