Got me a projector and a white sheet!!

Im in this thing roughly around 400 bucks and half that was the projector new.

I threw up the sheet for now however I did it right I got my tv and computer plugged into the projector so it if awesome! I moved my 65 inch tv into my bedroom, however I did have to get some blackout curtains for the living room to make it good during the day. I love this new setup I did makes feel like Im in the theater and the picture of it is very good!

I'm remodeling my basement and had planned on doing the same thing down there. I have no windows to worry about. What projector did you go with and where did you get it?

I turned my basement into a theater room back in 06. I have a Infocus projector plus 6.1 surround sound and built my own screen. You can buy the screen material on eBay for cheap and make the backing frame out of 1x4 and I bought window framing for the outer frame. The screen is 100" diagonal. I even went to the steps of buying movie posters and other theater decorations. It is the man cave during football season. Unfortunately the Colts decided to skip this season!!!! If you want to make your own screen, I can give you some pointers. The day my brother saw it he ordered his projector on the way home and had to start a pissing match by having me make a 124" screen for him.

You can also just paint the wall your going to project on. That way you don't have to worry about a projector up and down and it's alot cheaper and gives you the same picture quality.
