Happy Holidays to all !!

Just had an idea and was wondering if anyone has turned the compressor to blow straight down or better angle into the IC to eliminate the 90. Mod to the IC would be a straight or slight angle inlet.
Maybe a custom hose for a slight offset alignment if encoutered.
The removal of the 90 would definetly help.
I do not see a down side or fitment issue.
Anyone tried it, etc. ????

I think this would help allot. i think you could relocate the WG actuator ok. The heater hose runs right under the compressor housing, this might limit how much you can recock it...

I managed to turn mine down 45 degrees, but had to severely alter the WG diaphram housing bracket. Everything else fit pretty good, and I *believe* it should help flow...

Cool fellas. Thanx for the input.

After looking at the compressor closer, it would have to be different comp housing design to blow straight down as I described. The outlet side needs to face 180 the other direction(toward the pass cyl head) then it would have rotate it around to blow straight into the IC.

Just tossing around some thoughts for conversation sake.
I am sure there is a housing out there somewhere that would work.
It would have to be an improvement for performance.
