TV boost valve CK's kit

I put this up in the trans section but need help. I got the snap ring out but the valve is stuck. I can't get it out the to put the new parts in. Trans is in the car. I have no spring left to pop it out.

Usually if you push it further in and release it quickly it will come out. You may have to try several times. If that doesn't work then drilling a hole and putting a screw in it should work. Your not going to reuse the old boost valve anyway so no harm no foul.

Take a punch or screw driver and tap it rapidly. Try pushing it in a bit and quickly letting of as well.

it won't push in at all. Also put the pan and filter and 3 qts of trans fluid. Ran it for 5 min, still won't fall out.

I think you're going to have to drill it. If that doesn't work, then you will need to pull the transmission out......

just got it out, i did have to drill it. There has to be a burr some where.
