Tv cable adjustment

Ever since I set my tps and "ratcheted" the tv cablecable. I cannot seem to get the shift to stay firm. Seems to flare up between first and second after a few miles in traffic. I pressed too hard on the accelerator setting the tps and had a loud pop. Shifted very firm before

Don't know why you want to adjust the TV cable if you're just adjusting the TPS, unless you already have a problem with your shifting. If that's the case then you might want to remove the TV cable and check the inner wire cable for free improvement inside the TV cable housing, it might be binding.
If all feels loose then you read this, and try the "GM recommended" setting
