TV cable missadjusted?can it cause tranny to slip?

I have a freshly built 2004r,upgraded clutches,steels,modified pump,76-78 Servo,tranny shifts good until it sees about 3/4 throttle,the its feels like a slip-shift in both 2nd& 3rd,tranny builder said the TV cable doesnt have enough pressure,but we cant tighten any more because im only getting 3/4 throttle right now,ned some input Thanks CJ

Yes if tvc cable is too lose you will not have the pressure needed at WOT. TV cable should automatically adjust to the full tv position if properly adjusted and working correctly. If you can only get 3/4 throttle cuz of cable something is wrong. Also if you are maxing the tv cable out now and is what it sounds like then I doubt that is your only problem.
