I see, reason I ask is because I am using my old 85 TV cable on the BRF trans I put in. I adjusted the TV cable using that "factory method" and it shifted great for about 8 minutes, than it all of a sudden didnt want to shift out of 1st until it hit 23 mph and didnt shift out of 2nd until 42 mph, but it pretty much skipped 3rd and went right into 4th. Now it seems no matter where I adjust the cable to, it doesnt do anything for the shifting. I pulled the pan and checked for a governor spring....even pulled the governor out and looked it it, looks brand new; in fact everything looks really nice. Cable seems to be fine too.....im not sure whats going on with this thing.
