Hi All,
What is the correct length of the TV cable for a BRF 2004R tranny?
I measure from the entrance of the tranny to the edge of the "D" bracket.
One measurement is 30" and the one I removed from my car is 40".
Secondly, Would anyone has a layout or a picture of were the TV cable is mounted from the throttle bracket to the tranny.

I understand allot of vendor's has a direct replacement of the TV cable, but has anyone physically took a measurement of the overall length of the TV cable.

Wouldn't the universal or the longer one has an adjustable clip at the end of the cable which attachés to the throttle bracket? If so then the one that I have which is 40" long is not an universal. The end has the clip that look like the factory one.
Also when you replaced your TV cable did you fasten/bolted the TV cable to the back of the motor heads which has already has female thread hole?

I can drive a car but not a nail.

I don't work on my car; others can do that much better than me so I can't help you but that link I sent you should cover what you need to know.
