I probably just daydreaming but...
how feasible is it to turbo charge a small block chevy in my Monte SS. I have a friend that did a twin turbo 306 sbf in a Thunderbird but it is EFI car.
I was thinking of using a carb box from Vortech. But what can I do for headers.
Shorty headers for a truck look like they would work if I flipped them over.
Custom headers, I don't know if I could build them.
Any one able to make them????

Which turbo(s) should I use ?
How much psi?
What compression ratio?

you want to turbocharge a 305 or a 350ci engine??

there is a company in detroit that makes a twin turbo kit for LT-1 and LS-1 350ci. called Incon.

visit www.camaroz28.com and ask in their tech sections.
there is a guy by the name of Matt Harlan that you'll want to get a hold of on the camaro board. he has on of these twin turbo monsters!

Incon was based out of Australia and much like they land they come from, they went down under.

There are a few other places that make kits for the LS1. And I know someone from Alabama is fabricating a TT Kit for the LT1 as well.

There are plenty of places that make Turbo setups for the carb SBC. Try getting a book called Turbochargers by Hugh MacInnes. Forget a carb box - there are carb's that can handle boost without it. Keep it simple and go with a single turbo. Twins is not needed, unless you going for looks and not power.
