next weekend (sat march 5) there will be two really nice (very low mileage <500 ) gnx's for sale at auction in greensboro nc.......no they are not mine ! .........they are from the collection of the late Todd Whitworth who was a genuine Turbo regal lover.......also on the block are two ultra low mileage gn's a black T and a 89 TTA with 1200 miles............if you are serious about getting a good deal on a GN or GNX this is probably going to be the best opportunity ever........i have worked on some of these cars and i can say they are MINT........also for sale is the GN that I Nicknamed "Frankenstein"...........this car was Todd's first turbo regal and while he put a lot of miles on it when he was young a few years ago he spent well over 100 grand restoring it to a state that no other GN i have ever seen could compete with......tastefully customized beyond belief.....a paint job done by John Johnson that has no equal on any turbo regal........i did a lot of work on this car and some of you that attended the 2010 nationals at my shop may have seen it.......ONE OF A KIND..........this alignment of the planets probably only occurs once in a lifetime.....don't miss it...............Richard Clark

Would be fun to attend the auction, just to see them.

Too far of a drive for me, someone go and take pics!

That is a lot of GN's and the GNX's for just one guy, glad he spreading them out. Wish one GNX would come to my home!

I just searched past results from this auction company , to me , it does not look like the place to be bringing high end/ high value cars . At least they have/offer no reserve . Going thru the " sold " list , did not see any go over six figures .
I hope these GN's/T's/ and X's have reserves on them . If someone wants a good deal , this looks like a good place to go to .

A friend has frequented these auctions, this is the place for the normal person so to speak, can have the opportunity to buy a solid car without making the Bigger auction companies more money and paying a lot more than you would buying privately. Some have reserves and some don't , but you can expect to pay fair market value or close for the most part at this auction. Some cars go way above and some below but that happens at most auctions. I will be bidding on one of the cars as I haven't found a replacement for gnx 192 yet.

Here is a run down of the other cars, see posts above for the two GNX's:

TTA with 281 miles reserve was lifted at $30k, sold at $34k hammer price.

GN with 3,330 miles and T-Tops, bid reached $30k, no sale.

WE4 with 26k miles, reserve lifted at $15k, sold at $15,250 hammer price.

GN with 47 miles, reserve was lifted at $45k, sold at $45,500 hammer price.

GN Frankenstein, bid reached $46k, no sale.

Did anyone see the second car of the day, a white '81 El Camino with GN interior and drivetrain? I missed it and am curious as to what it sold for.

I missed the gn powered elco. It had been locally on CL for 11k.

I met owner of gnx 103. Staying in nc and most likely not driven.
