C'mon guys, give the man a break... I met him through a friend of his in Cali that I've known for a long time. I heard tons about the Supra before I even talked to him for the first time. And I hear stories about it just about every night; our friend that introduced us is borrowing the supra while his VR4 is being fixed (or something like that, I didn't really pay attention to all the details). It's real, it exists, and it's one of the reasons I'll be visiting california in August :p The guy with the VR4 (Lane) has a digital camera and took some pictures of it, he just needs a cable to connect the camera to his computer and we'll be able to unleash the beast onto the internet. ;)
 
If that is the Supra you were talking about in the Lounge, then I am sure Chris Chow would race him with his Buick :D

Hey TurboSupra... Don't let these guys get you down bro.. I believe ya. Just because everyone else that has a 9 sec car has a bunch of pics of it,a fistful of timeslips(well maybe fistful of Dyno slips and some calculation that turns Dyno numbers into timeslips) and such you don't need them. You just telling everyone it goes 9.7s@153 carries a lot more weight than all those stupid timeslips anyway.

You setup sounds pretty sweet... What do you use for fuel management when you have the boost turned up on the T-88?? or Can the stock ECM handle that?

What track let's you run 9.7s@153 with no roll cage or anything?? I need to go there since I am catching grief for running a slow ass 10.90 with no cage.

This guy is full of s#it.

Crower has never sold a 3.4 kit, and no one else has one in the works, from what I am aware of.

HKS has a kit for sale now but I'm not sure anyone in the US has it yet.

I hate to say it, but this guy's legit. I raced him just a few weeks ago. We were going about 125 down I-95 at 4am and I dropped it to second and nailed it. A blue flame spouted out of my tailpipes and we took off. At 145 I hit my NOS1 button and my tires squeeled and my Direct Scan said "MANIFOLD DANGER" but I got mad and shut it. At 165 I hit NOS2, shifted for the 7th time and took off. I didn't start pulling on him till we hit about 185-190, but by 220 I was at least 4 car lengths ahead. We pulled into the Steak and Shake to check out each other's car. I have just a TE44 and 38# injectors. He's got that stroker motor and really cool TRD stickers. Also one of those awesome seat belt pads with something in Japanese written on it.

Sorry to defend an import owner, but thought you guys should know.
 
I hate when direct scan starts giving me that manifold danger crap... usually slamming the laptop closed will make it go away but sometimes you have to fiddle with the hidden nos bottle valves.:D

Nice. I assume the drive back to FL from Cali wasn't too bad but your car could do it in an hour or so :).

Silly guy...he didnt' mean 18 psi. He meant that he reclocked the turbo 18 degrees so it will spool up faster. Anyone know how to fix a broken wastegate actuator? Mine will only let me spool to 34psi, and we all know you can boost much more than that.
 
I want some NAWS!!! The two big blue bottles...... I figure 35lbs of boost on pump gas with a 200 shot should make my car run 9's @150mph and all of this with my stock D5 converter, TA-49 turbo, and stock block.... It's possible!

On second thought maybe I should get me one of those Acme rockets as well...... If it worked for the Coyote it should work for me as well..... This new combo I thought of should be put on gnttype.org:D ;)

Did you floor the gas pedal at the beginning of the race or after you got mad? Also who floored it first him or you? Is your manifold ok and did your floor pans blow out?;)
 
Is that was blew out? The floor pan? I never understood that. I floored it repeatedly and it was cool...even though when you looked at my speedometer it went from 130-140 in a second and a half, the race lasted 4 or 5 minutes.
