Two step indicator

Having a hard time seeing the initial hit on the power logger graphs. would it be possible to initiate a tic on the power logger graph via the switch on the brake pedal that initiates the two step, or any other ideas on recognizing the hit off the line.

do you have any open channels on the powerlogger input unit?

If you mean the analog block yes 7 and 8 are open. Also voltage input to ln5 is not used.

how are you triggering the 2step?

with a brake pedal switch

ok, do this.

connect a 2K (or 2.2K) resistor from input I5 to ground.

connect a 10K resistor in-line going from I5 to your brake pedal switch.

The resistors will cut down the voltage going to the PL input, since its really designed for 0-5v signals

Then you will be able to see the switch in PL
