He never got out of it when he lost control. What a moron. Alot of people think they have contol of their car and then it gets away from them. Hope the guy in the c6 beat the guys azz
The video gets cut short but it looks like the other car tried to take off.

I called Chris Chow to tease him about this because he has owned C5 and C6 Z06s.
He mentioned that they were a lot harder to drive than a Turbo Buick when losing control.
A common issue is when people lose control and let off the gas with out putting in the clutch.
It causes the rear end to wip around.
I have seen a couple Vettes wreck because of this...

That I can personally vouch for......

I think the 'Vette on the right is auto. On the left, stick. When they leave the light, the one on the right is holding the brakes and rolls out.

They do have traction control:tongue:

Wow, talk about feeling like a weenie....

I've had my C5 Z06 for over 10 yrs, its the easiest car to drive. If you watch the video, the right car taps his brakes right before he spins left. What a boneheaded move to touch the brakes...

Big oops... That would suck. Kinda hard to explain to the insurance company, or worse yet, the cops...

How would this would play out from an insurance standpoint? Since you wrecked your vehicle while engaged in an illegal street race, would they still pay out? Regardless of who's fault it was, both parties were involved in the race and therefore, both were involved in an illegal activity at the time the loss was incurred.

Just curious if anyone knows how the insurance companies look at this?

I recognize that intersection. Lived there for 8 years. It's a master planned community of about 100K people. These guys were tools.
