I have one in my TTA right now. But, it has five new programs on it.

Eric marshal at turbotweak put several new programs on it for me. The programs on the ultra chip are a bit dated now. I used the chip to have a program with stock injectors, stock injectors with Alchy, 50 pound injectors, and 50 pounders with alchy. I had him take the valet program off the chip, but wouldn't do that again. Now, my chip is ready for all four of the configurations I plan to use.

Any chip burner could do this for you. Buy a used ultra chip, do a search in the for sale section. A bit pricey by the time you buy the chip and reprogram it, but convenient ;)

Aside from that, you'd be just fine having one of our specialist chip burners make a custom chip for you, it would cost half the price of an ultra chip and be custom made for your setup.

Time was that board members commonly had two chips: One for everyday and pump gas, and one for race gas & racing. Now, with Alchy, you only need one chip and you cruise the streets with pump gas and Alchy set on kill....All with only one really good chip. It is progress :)

Thanks for the post dirtbag, and thanks for the helpful reply Lee. I was just about to ask that same question b/c I am ready for my next mod.

Some of us are still in that time. ;)

I had the Ultra Chip when I had stock injectors and liked it. I liked the convienece of having the anti-theft and several different settings. I usually used #3 for premium (91) pump gas and #5 for 100 UL.

thanks for the info.I can use the valet setting so my little brother has another thing coming if he tries to take it.his rice-burner friends drool when they see a REAL CAR!

I had one on my '85 GN, and loved it. As stated: the programming would be dated now, but having the "valet", and "anti-theft" features REALLY brought a boatload of peace-of-mind. I made an aluminum insert that replaced the console ashtray, and hid the thumbwheel there.

Just for positive input. I got to drive a GN with the settings changer.
Have to tell you. Going to install one in each car i have. They will need differnt settings. works real well. Wonder how much he put to my car.
Just kiddin'. We respect each others cars...............Rob
