Opps, title SHOULD say UPGRADING!!!
Looking to do this upgraded before BG. Loking to stay away from any problem brands and get the right micron.
Thanks!!

I personally did a 100 micron right out of my cell then a 25 micron inline...all stainless from racepartsolutions. A lot of guys run 10 micron but I am not having any problems w/ the 25 micron.

-10!? Shooting for 1500 hp? If your using this on that pt-51 combo the factory lines with alittle pressure will work fine. Making over 500whp on my OEM 5/16 hard lines with e85.

I used the inline 60 micron disc type filter pre and it restricted my fuel pump horribly. I'd go with a 150 pre SS. And a paper golden rod post. They filter down to 5-10 micron, flow great, are cheap, and ethanol compatible.

Thats the wayfare screwing up the description. That is Recommended high pressure. I've ran over 75psi on 3 of my cars. Many others using it too. I actually mic'd the metal thickness when I opened and inspeced my filter the first time. Same thickness as a standard oil filter. 50psi is nowhere near burst pressure. I tried to blow one with my air compressor. Sat at 120psi all night. No signs of any kind of problem. Filter element inside was perfect as well. No shifting etc.
