Does anyone have a catalog or link to one, I am trying to find a hybrid u-joint for my driveshaft. I have an aluminum shaft, and i am not sure of its size. The factory one is too small in diameter.
THanks in advance

Get me the cap sizes, whether or not it uses inside or outside lock rings (or a combination of). If they are both outside, supply me with the dimension across including caps. If they are inside, measure to the outside of where the lock rings go. I will be back here at the shop early tomorrow A.M. and will be glad to give you a Precision number. As a Ferinstance, the stock u-joint has 4 caps measuring 1.125" and an inside measurement (including lock rings), of 2.563" both ways. John R. :)

I will be needing 2 of the same joints. My 400 yoke uses the stock size joint,as well as the stock rear end, THe aluminum shaft uses larger
The ones that attach to the shaft are outer rings,THey measure1.185 in diamter and seems to be 3.61 or so across including the caps.
SO stock size on 1 side with outer (cap mounted rings)
and 1.185 X 3.61 with internal rings on shaft side
Thanks Again

not sure if this helps, But the ends of the driveshaft are stamped spicer LK 22 F3-289

ANd the joint that was in the shaft is stamped
SD 834

Looks to be a Precision #447 "combination joint". 2 caps 1.125" with the "C" shaped cap mounted clips measuring 2.563" across, and 2 caps 1.188" with a non grooved cap that uses an outboard mounting clip that measures 3.622" across. Unfortunately, Precision doesn't appear to offer that particular joint in their "super-strength" u joints, just the standard replacements. If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call (419) 562-7278 here at the shop - should be here pretty much all day. :D

THanks again for the help. I wonder if Brute strength make a HD one that will cross
