Unsolved Mysteries. "FIRE"

If its not one thing its the other. Shi$ keeps on breaking after I fix one problem then another one occurs. Like today my piece of shi% cought on fire while I went inside to pee. I got the fire under control. What it comes out to be is my postive battery cable was too close to my dp and fried . then shorted my headlights out. but everything else works fine "lights wise". By this time I was ****ting a brick. I was pissed off I didn't want to work on it anymore. So now the question why would my headlights short out but everything else is fine. And how is everyone routing their postive battery cable and hoe long is it?
