Hey Y-all

Just a reminder for some up comming events.

The LSBC will be having there Buick, Mustang Shootout
event on September 9th at Ennis.

I want to attend but because the car as of today is still not
repaired I don't know if it will be ready for this event.

Then there is Bristol September 28 ~ 30th.

I will have to pass this year :( because of some problems
with the car and some other things I have to do this is
not in the budget this year.

Then we have the Noble event October 27th.

I will attend this event as long as the car don't give me
any more trouble, I have attended this event many times
and have always enjoyed it very much. :D

Then there is always the Car Club Bash at Sealy.

After August this event changes back to Sunday

Anyway I hope to see many old faces at the events I can
make and meet some new ones.

down-time blues

Although I don't know the nature of your breakage Neal, sorry about the protracted down-time. I hope to make the September Ennis Shootout and the OK Shootout in October. After waiting a year, I was finally asked to drop my car off locally for a new cage (the only quality guy in the area IMO, and he picks and chooses his jobs). The steel 6-pt bar is coming out in favor of a chromemoly 8- or 10-pt cage, and a notch job. It's supposed to be ready in 2 weeks, but who knows. I never would have dreamed I'd need/want to do this when the bar was installed in 1996.

Hey Art, thanks for the comment, I know it's a pain in the rear
but it's just part of the new combination blues. Will get it sorted
out sooner or later (hopfully sooner then later  )

:D I know the feeling about "never would have dreamed about
certian changes ;) It's like when I got my car, I only wanted low
to mid 12's.....then high 11's then just a 10 hehehehe

I'm sure will meet up at one of the events.

good Luck and take care

If my alcohol injection would hurry up and get here, I'd be game for Ennis in Sept.
I just wish we could all meet up at HRP on a Sunday sometime. Sealy is just too far for me. I believe it is well over 100 miles one way. I am also not too big into 1/8mile tracks.

 That will be neat to see Ross when you get the alcohol
injection on the car.

As for me, it's about the same distance to either track, it's
92 miles from home to Sealy and 89 to HRP and takes me
an hour and a half one way to either :(

That is why it's hard for me to make the Sunday races
at either unless I'm taking Monday off.

Oh well maybe one of these days when Nasty feels like
running again with out breaking something or having fits
hehehe.
