With my new combo I'm flowing alot more air than the old. I still have the old injectors ( 009s ) though. Should I up the timing by putting in my race chip or up the boost as far as I safely can? I went from a stock engine with a TE-60 and all the normal mods...f/m, full exhaust, pump, etc. to a TE-63-1 with .030 engine w/ forged pistons, CC 206/206 cam, ported heads w/ bigger valves and 3 angle valve job. I have the usual stuff like power plate and a boost-a-pump for more fuel from the Walbro 307. This is a street car and will only be that. I have the SMC alky kit and will only tune as much as I safely can. I do have a scan tool. The chips are a K-B hot flash and MM street with 20 degrees. I plan on getting a turbotweak chip hopefully this month. Any help is appreciated.
 
Even for a street car, those injectors are way too small! I would buy some 60 lb injectors, get an alky chip from eric and run about 23-24 lbs of boost with the alky.
 
These cars are funny My car ran the same MPh with a 20 deg turbo tweak chip as it did with a 26deg RedAS 100 octane chip . So.......?????? My votes for the boost . I was running 25psi with my TA49 and it Mphed with the street chip @108 on really hot NY day . A few weeks later with a new CPT65BB @ 28psi same hot crappy day it went 112mph so the boost is going to get you going . Esp since you have cam and heads now too which i dont .
 
For the time being I will probably run the race chip with as much boost as possible. I ran 18 psi with no knock before all the work was done. This was with a TE-60 turbo and stock engine. I think with the better flowing turbo, heads and cam I should be able to run 20 psi with my race chip. This will help keep my cheap clamps from blowing off until I get my t-bolt clamps in. I will still get the turbotweak chip but am thinking now of selling the 009s and upgrading to 60s.
 
Raise the boost.

Low timing is great for spooling turbos anyways.
